I’m about 25 weeks pregnant with my first child & have been on Lovenox injections of 120mg/day since I was 13 weeks due to a stroke. I’ve been giving myself the injections in my stomach & love handles since I began. Is it safe to continue in the stomach area throughout your whole pregnancy? I’m just worried about the needle coming too close to the baby as my pregnancy progresses. Has anyone given themselves injections in their stomach throughout their entire pregnancy or were you forced to move to a different area? Thanks!

About ten years or so ago I went to the doctor and asked about Prostate cancer screening. He said I was too young. Besides being over worked under paid and uninsured I have a pain in my scrotum and it feels like I have an 8 ball in between my crotch. I have been doing a lot of heavy lifting and I am exhausted. Everything works fine down there but I am very tired. A friend of mine had kidney cancer and he died shortly afterwards, he complained of being tired. Also my bones hurt. I was thinking that I could have a body infection. Should I be terminated by lethal injection? Getting sick is a sin in this country, I should be punished. Of course I could be over reacting, it has been a terrible week.

Best answer:

Answer by Kimberly R
My dad had prostate cancer and has beat it with chemotherapy. From what I understand (second hand through him), if caught early enough prostate cancer is one of the cancers with the best success rates.

Nowadays to “make love” is a clear euphemism for sexual intercourse. Reading the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald, it is seems that circa the 1920s the phrase was connotative of seduction, flattery, to “hit on” someone. This has left me confused, when I hear the phrase used in any song or movie or literary work from a time period in between now and then, when it was that the meaning of the phrase shifted…

Best answer:

Answer by Kandiboots
I don’t know but I was reading Little Women and it had something about them all making love to the baby, so maybe originally it was even less smutty.

I have been thinking about this recently. In many relationships, [...]

I have been thinking about this recently. In many relationships, including mine, women have a strong talk drive while men have a strong sex drive. My experience is that in the beginning of a relationship, both drives more or less match but after some time, the male talk drive fades as much as the female sex drive. Women want to feel close to be in the mood for sex, and my own experience is that I want to feel close to be in the mood for talking. For some reason this closeness often disappears, and I believe it is because in many relationships, the partners realize they are not really compatible. Now the thing is: usually the women wants the man to get her in the mood for sex, to recreate the closeness between them. At the same time, it is also the women that wants the man to get in the mood for talking. Does this mean that men are responsible for both: to get themselves in the mood for talking and get their spouses in the mood for sex? Wouldn’t it be fair that, if the men are responsible for getting the women into the mood for sex, then the women should be responsible for getting the men into the mood for talking? And then the question is: how to you get a man into the mood for talking? I can speak for myself here: I am in the mood for talking when I feel that my mind can speek freely, that I am accepted as for what I am, that I am not judged, that I am not controlled. So if a men’s talk drive is down (as much as women’s sex drive is down), does that mean that married men have the problem of not feeling appreciated for what they are? Are our wifes projecting an image upon us (the image of an ideal husband) that does not match our true self and is this what affects our “talk drive”?
For those who did not get the point: I had a relationship where is was very easy for me to talk, simply because the other person accepted me as I am, did not judge me, did not project her own expectations on me. I never had a talk problem with her, and viceversa. This makes me think that diminuishing talk drive is a relationship problem, not a personal problem. Which also makes me think that diminuished sex drive is a relationship problem, not a personal problem. What I am saying is: put the right person in front of me, and I talk like a waterfall. If that applies to sex drive, does it mean: put the right person in front of my wife (instead of me), and her sex drive will suddenly be back? Maybe a provocative thought but certainly interesting…
